An investor and researcher, Jean-Jacques Degroof currently served until 2010 as an Affiliate-Researcher with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Industrial Performance Center. Jean-Jacques Degroof has also spent time at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government as a fellow at the Center for Business and Government, now known as the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government (M-RCBG).
In a recent press release, the M-RCBG announced that it has launched a new website, GrowthPolicy.org, to highlight Harvard faculty members’ scholarship on economic opportunity and progress. The website currently includes more than 1,300 pieces of content, ranging from research papers to videos, with new items posted every day.
According to the press release, the entries focus on an array of important economic topics, including the origin of future employment, ways to avoid a financial crisis, and rising economic inequality. The M-RCBG hopes the compilation of research will foster informed debate on how to achieve sustainable prosperity and serve as an easily accessible resource for policymakers.
To ensure that the website includes material from many different perspectives, the M-RCBG gathers work from Harvard’s diverse faculty of political scientists, economists, historians, lawyers, and sociologists. These experts address a global economy by covering international subjects, such as development in Africa and China’s economic slowdown.
